President-elect Obama needs a hypoallergenic first dog adopted from a shelter. Our new leader likes mixed breed dogs. There are many poodle mixes at pounds around the country that fit our new leader's criteria for a first dog.
An older dog that is already housebroken and trained would be better than a puppy. A mature dog who does not chew things up, chase cats, or bite would be an ideal candidate. The first dog should be a positive role model for the dogs of the world.
